Ingredients to Make Whipped Feta Dip

An informative image showing the different ingredients needed to make this easy whipped feta dip including feta cheese, greek yogurt, black pepper, olive oil, lemon juice and zest, and a garlic clove.

Feta Cheese: I recommend using the blocks of feta cheese packaged in brine over the pre-crumbled varieties. The block types will typically lead to a creamier dip because they contain a bit more of the brine.

Greek Yogurt: This adds extra creaminess to the dip.

Olive Oil: Good quality olive oil adds to the quality of the flavour and texture.

Lemon Juice & Zest: I would always recommend fresh lemon juice over bottled. The fresh lemon zest cuts through the garlic and feta cheese perfectly and adds a delicious brightness to the dip.

Garlic Clove: Fresh garlic works best in my opinion. You can also add a roasted garlic clove if you’d like to elevate the recipe.

Black Pepper: Just a pinch of black pepper adds some extra depth the whipped feta dip.
